Linking to threads

How do I go about linking to a specific thread? The URL on top of the page is always "http://www.flyertalk.com/forumsfr.shtml".

I know that I can link to a letter by getting the URL from "Properties" but when I do this that one letter takes up the entire screen and the person can not see others in the thread nor respond.

If you are using a PC computer, go to Properties and you will find the exact URL address of the thread in question.

If you are using a Macintosh computer, press the Control key to View Frame Info.

Sometimes opening a separate browser window will also reveal the specific URL.

You could also get the URL of a specific post, such as this one, Dovster.

WARNING: The above link will lead you into a thread in OMNI, which you are currently boycotting. It is an attempt to goad you into posting in a certain thread...

Okay, now I see where my problem was. I was clicking on the number of the post and that gave me a completely different "Properties". Thanks.

Well, I considered posting there but decided against it. I really didn't feel I had any place posting in "Who will be the next person in Omni to have his Single Sex Marriage destroyed by The Shrub and the Israelis while innocent terrorists are being discriminated against by the FBI?"
