Linking to threads
How do I go about linking to a specific thread? The URL on top of the page is always "http://www.flyertalk.com/forumsfr.shtml".
I know that I can link to a letter by getting the URL from "Properties" but when I do this that one letter takes up the entire screen and the person can not see others in the thread nor respond. |
If you are using a PC computer, go to Properties and you will find the exact URL address of the thread in question.
If you are using a Macintosh computer, press the Control key to View Frame Info. Sometimes opening a separate browser window will also reveal the specific URL. You could also get the URL of a specific post, such as this one, Dovster. WARNING: The above link will lead you into a thread in OMNI, which you are currently boycotting. It is an attempt to goad you into posting in a certain thread... |
