Once the speed issue is corrected, can you also fix the time on the site? I'm showing 11:12 pm and it's 3:32 here in SAN.
Just something else to make you aware of.
And yes, I also like the new look for the board. Once all the little bugs are fixed, I know everyone will be very happy with the changes as I am.
Keep up the good work.

Mountain time is showing correct, but Pacific time with should be 1 hour earlier is now showing 2 hours earlier. It's currently 5:31pm and once the time is set to Pacific, it shows 6:31.
Edited to note that I was looking at my last sign on time, and not the actual time. Guess I too am spending a bit more time looking a the threads during the initial re-startup of FT boards.

There's still something wrong with the clock or the timezone setting (perhaps to do with US changing to DST this weekend?). I have my timezone set to GMT+8 (HK) and am posting this at 10:55 local. The clock is showing 11:55...

For more information on this feature and setting the time in general, please see the The NEW FlyerTalk: Helpful Hints, Tips and Suggestions to Enhance Your Experience thread.

Lets wait until tomorrow (later today for you) and see if the problem corrects itself. If it does, then Daylight Saving Time was activated despite your current setting. If not, then the source of the problem lies elsewhere.

I don't understand why the board's clock is set by hand in the first place. Having an NTP server on ones server constantly keep the machine at the correct time is trivial. Most people I know with home networks do it! FT should simply set up NTP on their web server.

This morning, the time on my computer (which is automatically set to an atomic clock every time I boot up my computer) shows that FlyerTalk is once again slightly greater than three minutes fast, as it has been since FlyerTalk was transferred to the new vBulletin bulletin board software.
For me, the time and date discrepancy has been resolved at this time. Now I simply wish that FlyerTalks clock was set to a more accurate time.
However, if one looks around different threads throughout FlyerTalk, there is evidence of an issue of individual FlyerTalk members having different times set, which causes the bizarre situation of allowing someone to post a reply before the original post to which they are replying. One thread that shows evidence of an example of this discrepancy is the Who Will Be The Next FlyerTalk Member To Post? An OMNI Game thread, beginning specifically at post #56.
Has anyone else experienced this bizarre anomaly?
