This morning, the time on my computer (which is automatically set to an atomic clock every time I boot up my computer) shows that FlyerTalk is once again slightly greater than three minutes fast, as it has been since FlyerTalk was transferred to the new vBulletin bulletin board software.

For me, the time and date discrepancy has been resolved at this time. Now I simply wish that FlyerTalk’s clock was set to a more accurate time.

However, if one looks around different threads throughout FlyerTalk, there is evidence of an issue of individual FlyerTalk members having different times set, which causes the bizarre situation of allowing someone to post a reply before the original post to which they are replying. One thread that shows evidence of an example of this discrepancy is the Who Will Be The Next FlyerTalk Member To Post? An OMNI Game thread, beginning specifically at post #56.

Has anyone else experienced this bizarre anomaly?

Talk about going Back to the Future...
