newbie question: how to find an old post of mine
I've given this a good crack in the search box and can't find a post I made from this past June.
I had promised the respondents follow up once the case was resolved and now I'm trying to do so, but it seems maybe the thread was deleted? It was about 3 pages deep and full of quite a bit of helpful advice.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Your profile indicates you have made ten posts. However, when I click "Find all posts by scwinton", it only indicates two: the one above and one in August. So a moderator may indeed have sequestered at thread or two.

Thanks!
Any idea why posts get sequestered/hidden?
The topic was a bad experience with Aeromexico and an effort to get compensation. Ultimately this failed and I wanted to let the helpful commenters know. They put a lot of thought into responses and wanted me to tell them what ended up happening.

I have no inside info in this case but if I had to guess I would lean to something like the latter explanation because usually when posts are deleted entirely, that's reflected in your post count.
No idea why. But you can contact a Moderator and inquire. The easiest way to do this is to click on the "Report Bad Post" button for SPN Lifer 's post. (There's nothing wrong with his post, but reporting it and explaining why you're reporting it will give a Moderator what is needed to investigate this issue.)
However, in this case, this amounts to the same thing, as neither the current forum nor the "Other North and South American Airlines" (there is no specific AeroMexico forum it seems) have a dedicated moderator team, so RBPs in either forum would go to the senior mods either way. So I guess, go ahead

Although if it is indeed a technical issue then IBJoel might have to get involved.
