Also having problems with likes not working, in one case I got an error after hitting like, and now I can't get to that page in the Who loves Costco thread anymore.

This is so ridiculous.

ETA: quick reply just spinned, had to hit go advanced and then submit reply.

ETA: Now I'm seeing 7 required, 6 given in the same place when trying to go page by page within the thread, can't get to the last 2 pages for me.

Interesting. I'm now able to get to the last page of the Costco thread as of this posting time as well as the What's for Dinner thread. Wonder if there's some userid dependency.

Had the ArgumentCountError: 7 arguments are required, 6 given in ..../includes/functions.php on line 3127 error on this thread yesterday: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trip...w-country.html

It's still there today (Chrome under Windows 10), also in this thread: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trip...tars-cats.html

After posting my last comment and getting the “Argument…” error message my whole last thread in the BA forum is now corrupted and won’t display at all (getting the same “Argument…” error message.

Can we maybe roll back to 7?

Same error continues. More data points -

I receive he error when attempting to access the thread via 'go to last post Icon or anything other than main title line (only ia title).

Fails in Chrome and Edge on 1 Windows 10 Computer, works on other Windows 10 computers.

Works on this computer if logged out of FT

The Delta Forum Lounge Thread — Everybody is Still Welcome! (2022 - Forward)

Firefox, Win 10
Desktop
Did not try incognito
Same happened in Edge (so it doesn't seem to be a browser issue).

Same issues as SuperG.
-I can open a thread, and advance with the next button. But if I try to use the "last" icon or "go to page" function, the error message pops
-Also tried changing the page # in the URL to the last page, and the error pops
-Seems like I can use the quick reply function within a thread, and it allows me to post. From the forum landing page, I can see I am the last poster in a particular thread. However, when I click on the link for my post, it throws the error.

I'm glad it wasn't just me. Too annoying b4 coffee

alex67500 Nov 29, 2022 7:01 am

I get this error on the following thread: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/brit...-greeting.html

Error: ArgumentCountError: 7 arguments are required, 6 given in ..../includes/functions.php on line 3127

I can get to page 1 of the thread by clicking on the title, but if I click on first unread then it mulls for 10 seconds and then I get the error above. It's the only thread which has the problem as far as I can see. I also tried to use Go to Page at the bottom, input page 90 (which is where my first unread post is located) and I get the error as well.

It's the same on Edge on Windows (desktop) and Chrome on Android (mobile). It started this morning (GMT) for me, but I didn't read much yesterday.
One in incognito, the other logged in, same result.

(Also, it isn't great to show verbose errors on prod servers, but that's just my 2 pence).

Clicking on thread title, last un-read, last post, and "Last Page" all give the same error message.

Only thread (so far) that has given me this issue. I've seen the spinning circle for quick replies in multiple threads (edited to add: including this one), but it does post. I just click on the back button.

So the workaround is?1. Find your target thread2. Log out3. Go to last page4. If you feel like commenting, log in, and do so

Not for me, log back in & get the same errors

CDTraveler Nov 29, 2022 8:05 am

I get "ArgumentCountError: 5 arguments are required, 4 given in ..../includes/functions.php on line 3127" anytime I start with the link to last post in a thread, then try to go back a page. It's not possible to scroll up from the last page in a thread. Nor is it possible to jump to the next to last page using "Go to Page"

Also, if I like 1 post in a thread, like the 1st one in this thread, the system will not allow me to like any others.

Desktop or mobile? MacBook

Reproduced in multiple browsers? Which do/don’t work (we at least need to know the initial browser)? Safari

Steps to reproduce the issue Happens in every thread now, at first it was just the Secret Santa thread

Reproduced on incognito mode/private window? N/A

When did this problem start? November 28, yesterday

Addendum: I am now getting the same 3127 message when I try to access a thread (Stocking Stuffers, Women Travelers forum) by 1. clicking on the last post link, 2. clicking on the thread title from screen listing Travel & Dining forums and 3. from within the Women Travelers forum.

Something else I noticed recently, but prior to the 3127 problems is that from within a thread, I used to be able to click on the name of a forum, for example, in "Support&Services Technical Support and Feedback November 28th PHP 8 Update Bugs" I could click on "Technical Support & Feedback" to go back to the list of threads in that forum - the subforum names are no longer links and can not be used for navigation.

I'm also unable to manually edit the URL to the last page from any previous page, e.g. changing https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/delt...thread-50.html to https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/delt...thread-51.html

Odd error message when trying to click on thread

For the past few days, I get this strange error message when clicking on certain pages of certain threads, ArgumentCountError: 5 arguments are required, 4 given in ..../includes/functions.php on line 3127. See photo below.

For example, in the thread https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/alas...tificates.html I get the error when clicking on any page after page 12 (errors on page 13, 14 and 15).

This is discussed in the posts above. The affected threads vary between users. I can see all of the thread you posted, but not this one:

If you log out you should be able to read all threads.

Arguments error getting worse

I reported on the November 28 bugs thread yesterday about getting the "arguments counts error" on a few threads. Now it is showing up on many more threads and is even on the original November 28 bugs thread so I can't post there that it is getting worse. I haven't been able to go on there to see if there are updates and it is being worked on or if there is some work around that I should be doing.
Feel free to merge this with that thread but then I won't be able to see the response.

Testing the Quick Reply hang issue

GW McLintock Nov 29, 2022 2:15 pm

I haven't had an issue with Quick Reply throughout any of this. So here's a data point... works for me.

ETA: I may have spoken too soon. IBJoel's post was not quoted, and I was directed to the standard "reply" page with the error that I must wait 30 seconds between posts (even though this posted).

Silver Fox Nov 29, 2022 2:31 pm

From some of the threads that appear in My FT, I can see some that I cannot access are being appended to by different users. The point is that some threads that are broken to me, are not for others. Which seems odd.

corky Nov 29, 2022 2:32 pm

Thank you ...not to be a pest but any ETA on the fix?

Thanks to the team for working on some of the bugs...but I'm still having difficulty. What's upsetting is that I get errors often when I want to post. Know they are working on fixing this.
