I saw two messages earlier that I think are new to me (could be wrong though)
Had just finished composing a reply and clicked submit and got TypeError: explode(): Argument #2 ($string) must be of type string, array given in ..../products/hotel- reviews/lib/class_hotel_reviews.php on line 470 attempting to go back to the thread to try again resulted at first in a CloudFlare error, then our old friend the database error (the one that has happened a lot in the past), then finally Error: Undefined constant "posts" in ..../includes/class_dm_threadpost.php(1653) eval()'d code on line 36 *EDIT: I missed the "8" of the "PHP 8" in the title and only realized it after a mention of the PHP upgrade in the Oct 24th thread. So this certainly explains the triggering event, although as usual one wishes this could have been tried out on a beta site first to work out the kinks before unleashing it in production. |
addendum: while composing the above post, I noticed that my editor had been reset to the basic editor (which I certainly did not do on my own, my usual setting is the full whatever editor that is the other option in that dropdown menu) which I'm guessing is also related to today's shenanigans

So I've been getting the error "ArgumentCountError: 7 arguments are required, 6 given in ..../includes/functions.php on line 3127" all day on the thread https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/brit...ravels-39.html - I can still access some other threads and fora OK but can't get onto that one. Have tried clearing cookies to no avail but if I try and open via Incognito it opens OK so it just seems to be when logged in that there's a bug?

This is a brand new error that I've been receiving anytime I click on "go to unread", "go to last", or select the last page manually (e.g. enter 99 in a 99 page thread).
ArgumentCountError: 5 arguments are required, 4 given in ..../includes/functions.php on line 3127 |
I'm getting it on just one thread.
"ArgumentCountError: 5 arguments are required, 4 given in ..../includes/functions.php on line 3127" https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/omni...ll-thread.html Desktop or mobile? Mobile Reproduced in multiple browsers? Which do/don’t work (we at least need to know the initial browser)? Firefox on Android tablet and Android phone Reproduced on incognito mode/private window? No When did this problem start? Approximately, 11:00 AM |
Hmm for some reason my 2nd post on the the thread seems to have been removed, but I was pointing out there are some issues with 'Post Quick Reply' appearing to hang (despite working in the background).

I am getting the same argument counter error on this page: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/brit...dition-37.html
It's an issue on Chrome and Safari on Desktop, and Safari on mobile. It started immediately after I made a post to that thread. Before that it was fine. |

Not sure whether the alert has been sent However, it does appear we can change thread titles ourselves now. I'm not sure if this is intended, but I just did it in CommunityBuzz (https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/comm...-3-2022-a.html) - either that, or the mods received my report and changed the title in under 90 seconds. (I swear this is not a shameless plug! :p) -J. |
Continuing problem/error:
Forum/Thread: Marriott Bonvoy hotels in Rome, Italy - FlyerTalk Forums Action: Selecting "Go to first new post button" (inline or last post column) or selecting last page (multiple) generates the following error: ArgumentCountError: 5 arguments are required, 4 given in ..../includes/functions.php on line 3127 David |
I'm getting the same error in the Air Canada "The Forum Lounge Thread": https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/air-...ad-2022-a.html
