First Post on Thread DIsappeared

I went to edit the first post on a thread I started, and after I hit save, the post seems to have disappeared. Any reason why and can it be restored?

Never mind, it's back. I'm not sure what happened, the post was missing for about 15-20 minutes. Does editing put it in a mod queue for review?

With your post count, I don't believe it should have, but it's always possible there was a hiccup of sorts.

Another interesting bit is if we delete the first post in a thread, that action deletes the entire thread. It sounds like the thread continued to exist while the first post disappeared.

If youd had a single digit post count, editing a post would indeed put the post back into the moderation approval queue if it had a link or image in it. This helps catch occasional spammers who make an innocuous post and then return to insert a spam link.
