Links overriding links?

Not a link overriding link, but a continuation of a link.
I noticed that when I post a link, that whatever I type after it is also a link even though it's not a link.
Example: I was posting a link in the MAR forum to a MAR press release today & went to type cheers to end my post (as I always do) & Cheers also was a link. If I type a sentence the sentence also becomes a link. Again, W7 w/ Chrome.
