How to continue use flyertalk if cancel Facebook account?
Hi Mod
My account is log in and create with my FB account, however I need to cancel this FB account and would not use it anymore. In this case how can I continue using my FT account and log in?

Yes, you can. However, if you created your Flyertalk account through Facebook Connect, then you will have to update your email address first. Since Facebook doesn't send us any of your personal information, the only email address we'll have on file will be a Facebook proxy address, and after you unlink your account that won't work. Since you won't be able to log in through Facebook anymore once your account is unlinked, you'll also need to provide us with a password. I am trying to do this same thing. However, when I go into myflyertalk to update my email address BEFORE unlinking my Facebook (which sounds like the right order based on the thread), it asks me for my password. I tried no password then I tried my Facebook password. Neither worked. So I am unable to change my email.
