Configurable "New Posts" Search?

Most of the time when I search "new posts" using the link in the blue bar, there's a good number of OMNI and OMNI/PR results, which I usually don't have interest in. If I'm missing something, feel free to clue me in, but a feature I'd appreciate would be a customizable/configurable "new posts" feed which included just the forums that I am interested in.
