The first post worked as expected. Then I tried to make another post quoting a different post. I tried this several times, so I know I was clicking post quick reply from the correct post, specifically the one that I now wanted to quote. However, it kept quoting the first post that I had quoted earlier until in frustration I used the regular quote button that makes you click and go to a new page to post a reply. Seems to work fine, MSP -- be sure you are selecting the "Quote message in reply" checkbox when you want to quote from a quick reply. Yes, I'm checking the box, although sometimes it seems to stay checked from my previous Quick Reply post so that I must uncheck it to avoid quoting something.
I know I can use the quote button, but that requires a couple more steps. |

Agree, I think this is awful - 4 page separations caused by random placed ads that, in my case, are the same as the ad on the side anyway! Really really think this is a clunky way to display content and advertisements, not user friendly at all.
In addition for me the sizing is now all screwed up. Everything FT related is no longer centered to the overall page it's centered to the page minus the right ad space. Absolutely crappy implementation that will drive you crazy and drive you away.
Who thought it was a good idea to put ads in the middle of a thread? Not on the right nav, but actually separating each reply in a thread? Fine, serve up the ads, do it on the top, bottom and left navs. But seriously letting them divide comments up? |

I like apps much much more then the general cut down and limited forced use of "mobile" sites. If I go to a site, any site, in a browser, weather on my PC, tablet or phone, I want full access. Not something that removes, limits or hides functionality compared to the "desktop" site. |
these ads are now way more intrusive than ever before. I'd be happy to pay FT $1 a month or $10 a year to support you, but this is too much. Also now that the APP no longer works due to the latest update, I'll probably be on here less frequently - i hate using the mobile skin.

The app on my iPhone is dead, since I upgraded to 9.3. It just crashes out when I try and log in. I deleted the app, and redownloaded, now it just hangs when I try and log on
