This is febreeze commercial.
This only happens while I am in Japan.
This site is becoming not suitable for office with the constant audio ads.

There's an ad that becomes partially invisible right over the area where Forum Tools options are. It shows up when using Safari on an iPad. It cover Forum Tools and a couple of other options in that same menu bar.
After the page has loaded you can see the outline of the ad box and where the X to close it would be. However, you cannot click the X to close it. You can also see the image alternative text for the ad, but North the image itself.

Since I arrived in the UK, I've been getting looping, auto-playing video ads with audio on maybe 10% of the pages I visit. One is for the HP Spectre 360:

Edited to add: One solution I found is to block Flash plugins on Chrome by visiting chrome://plugins although I'm not sure of the effect this will have on my wider internet use.

I'm getting the same HP audio ads 25% of the time (UK).
I cannot turn off / block ads on my work computer - I need to access these.
Come on FT - sort this out - this is ongoing, and my option is to NOT access FT at work - which means I will basically not be accessing FT at all.

I am going to have to block Flyertalk access as I can't trust your security, sadly I think that makes it the first non-porn/gambling/download site to go on the company block list.

The redirects and hijacks were annoying last week, but usually fixable with a back-page.
They seem to have got more malicious this week with an offer to update Flash for me on my laptop, and a popup on my phone that I couldn't get away from except by killing the browser session and starting again.
I don't really want clients asking me why my connections are pulling dodgy content down on their networks during my tea breaks, so as above may need to simply stop visiting for a while .

Yes, I'm in the UK and getting this but more than 10% (100% today). The audio auto-plays and is quite disruptive. Anyone know how to disable the ads from playing? Thanks

Page redirect and pop up spam from ads
Hello, when browsing on android 5.1.1 and chrome I have found this site increasingly unuseable thanks to the endless pop up messages and page redirects.
( hmm it appears I cannot attach the image i took and need to link it )
