The website is painfully slow at the moment. What is wrong? These kind of things seem to happen often at FT...

SLOW; SLOW; SLOW!! Not only do I get errors on every page, as noted by another poster and apparently related to a running ad, but it's loading every page at a snail's pace and has been for a few days for me, too.
I'll sign off for now, as it's worse than old dial-up!! Hopefully, this is a short term problem, as it was once before.

Exrtremely slow now for over 3 hours. Pages take 30-60 seconds to load; replies are lost as it times out, etc.
The rest of the internet is blazing fast for me - it's only Flyertalk that is crawling.

Both servers are running fine -- looks like there are some other issues that I need to look at.

Thanks very much, John. Again, FWIW, things have been fine for me, if that helps you at all!

flyertalk painfully slow
Just now. From east-coast DSL line otherwise performing well and currently delivering 1.3 Mbps down and 330 Kbps up.
Problem mostly avoided by using "web1.flyertalk.com" instead of www.flyertalk.com.

Since about 10 a.m. Pacific time, pages are taking about 30 seconds to load for me on web1 with a T1 line. I was timing out on www.flyertalk.com and web2.
