Same here. I don't know if it's been slow today otherwise. I do know that I just got a slew of email notifications over about 15 minutes.

Hey, do we know if these two issues are related (slow system : delayed and bunched email notifications)? Or does the delay in email notifications deserve a separate discussion?

EDIT: Whoops, on further thought, I had the opposite. Got the balloon in front of everything else when the PM hit, but the email arrived much later.

I have one PM from a couple of days ago (when people were posting about the slow system) which has never had a respective email arrive ... it's just unreliable at the moment, it seems.

Odd glitch. Worth looking into though.

Still doing the same old thing: clicking reply to post this message had to be done three times before it "took." The first two times things just hung forever.

Sometimes threads take a long time to open, sometimes they don't open at all, sometimes it's quick.

But there's still definitely a problem.

I am guessing it has to do the debugging and system upgrade today. ;)

Was REALLY slow for an hour or so just now, and both PMs and the forums weren't indexing properly.

Very slow tonight also had issues accepting a friend request. I would check the box, hit save, it would process, act like it was finished and yet the request would still be there (and the person wasnt in my friends). I tried 5 or 6 times, tried leaving and coming back and no good. Over 2 hours later the person was showing as my friend finally.

Thanks for the continued feedback. Our team is continuing to work on improvements to the site's performance.

Very slow again. Started around 3:00 CDT this morning. It took me 10 minutes to get to this thread and post. :(

Been running into "Network Timeout" on my way here as well.

Any scheduled system maintenance between now and the end of the month?

I guess it's the time of the month (i.e. the end of a month) for the system to be slow again. :rolleyes:

Everything is so slow, starting about 30 minutes ago. Taking forever to open the forum, read a thread or post a reply. When performing a search (for example: Quick Link > My Posts), the browser window would hang forever. :(:(

Would it go on for the rest of the day?

Painfully slow now and pages only partially loading most of the time :(

It's coming in fine for me, but I'll have the team take a look.
