"NO" in Omni

Hi There,

I have a question. As you must know, everyone who visits Omni regularly thinks that the infamous "NO" thread helps to speed it up.
Today it is gone and Omni has been loading very slow for me.

Do you know if this is some kind of bug?
When it appears and disappears, is it someone physically putting it there or removing it, or does it just do it on it's own??

Just curious cause I really like it when it is there.

Dawn

I think (but don't remember for sure) that it was Dan who mentioned that it was an intermittent bug (but one whose effect is nice for speed!), not something that happened on purpose.

Another "No" oddity: If I post ANY reply in ANY of the fora in FT Travel when "No" is present, then the reply shows up immediately when I am taken back to the thread after posting. But when "No" is absent, I have to manually refresh the page to see my reply.

Maybe there's a clue there somewhere.

Omni is a "no-go" for me now (1:05 AM ET), as it isn't loading at all. The other forums and threads are working fine. Anyone else having this problem about now? Tried to get into Omni three times, but without success.

OMNI's running pretty slow for me as well...

Let me jump in there and poke around.

Update: found a couple corrupted files, deleted them and reindexed the OMNI forum. Things seem to be running now...
