Why do I always have to enter Username & Password?

Although I have re-enabled the function to save username and password agfter the upgrade of FT, I have to reenter my username and password every time I post a message. Any input?

are cookies enabled on your browser? That's what stores your login information.

What browser/platform are you using to view FlyerTalk?

Same problem here. Have to re-enter username and password on every reply even though cookies are enabled.

Same problem, and all my folders are one color so each time I go to FT I am unable to tell which posts are new. This is very annoying. The topics I already read are a different color, so why are the folders not working?

Ditto, I have the same problem. Your new board doesn't recognize my old cookie that always worked. Although I have made several posts on the new board, it asked me for my user name and password every time. I am using IE5. Is there a way to sign-in and load a new cookie?

I'm glad not being the only one having the problems discussed in all these messages. I'm using IE 5.5 on a W98 PC, cookies are enabled.

Same here, but this started way before the new format. I've tried everything I can think of. Maybe now that it's affecting more people, we can find the answer.

I think that I have figured out the solution to our problem. Click on preferences on the top of this page and click where it says to delete all cookies set by this forum. Then you go to where it says to store your user name and password for 1 year and select yes and click the submit preferences tab towards the bottom of the page. My user name and password are now loading up properly ever time that I post.
