It is the other way around for me. After the May 11/12 update, Red Folders started working again! It's been lost forever, so I thought, that's a really helpful feature! :-)
However, the lightbulbs tend to disappear sometimes (like once in five times) :-(
I'm using Netscape 4.50 on Win 95.

I am an exclusive Netscape user. But I like this board, so about two months ago I bit the bullet and started to use IE *only* for this board because lights and folders worked. However, no red folders since the upgrade.

I got my red folders back again by going into my C:\windows\profiles and deleting cookies under my user name folder as well as in the C:\windows\temporary internet files folder. The deleting cookies in the preferences setting of this bulletin board does not get rid of all of the forum.cgi and numbered cookies that seem to come out of this board.
Will see if it works after this "first" in again.

Hello,
I am the Systems Administrator for Frequent Flyer Services aka WebFlyer.com, and am responsible for the move to the new server.
Let me apologize for any inconvenience that you are experiencing. Unfortunately, the problem that you are likely experiencing could have only been avoided had we kept FlyerTalk "down" for the entire migration period, which would have been five to six days. We hope that you agree that the choice to have the board down for only 24hrs, despite the inconveniences, was the better decision.
The problem has to do with cookies, and you are likely to experience it one more time. The issue is that cookies are "stamped" with the domain name that they belong to. To facilitate the minimal down time, we had to set up a temporary "redirect" from the old site to the new one. You may have noticed that your FlyerTalk URL shows a string of numbers instead of the normal www.flyertalk.com or www.webflyer.com. That's the actual site computer address, which we have to use until the domain has completely transferred. Since your browsers don't believe that the cookies belonging to "flyertalk" also belong to "216.167.74.240" (the address of the site), they are not being sent to FlyerTalk BB. Thus your last visit and a few other preferences are unknown. Once the domain migration is complete, which should be by the end of today, if not already, your original cookies/preferences (i.e. prior to the move) will resurface. Thus the "red folders" will reflect your last visit as of last Thursday.
If you have never seen the red folders, the most likely reason is either that accepting cookies is turned off in your browser or that the browser version employed does not support setting cookies via JavaScript. I will be happy to help anyone determine the root of the problem if they wish.
We hope that these inconveniences aren't too troubling, but if they are, be sure to tell us so next time we have to move the site we can feel that having the board down for a week is acceptable to our customers.
If you have any questions, complaints, or kudos, feel free to email me.
