Cookie Problems?

Anyone else having problems (Y2K?) with their FlyerTalk cookies? Doesn't show last visit and hence no color bulbs or folders. I delete old preferences and enter new ones and it works fine for that session, but when I shut down the computer and come back to FT later, I get no prior visit info.

My problem relates to posting replies, etc. Yesterday there was no problem, but today I find that I do have one. Specifically:

When I go to the Reply Page to respond or add something to someone's post, I no longer find -- on my initial arrival to that page -- my UserName and Password displayed automatically as in the past. I must re-enter this information, then it remains through the session for any other posts I might wish to make. However, when I sign back on, and go to reply or post -- as I just have done this afternoon -- once again there is no UserName and I must re-enter both that and the Password.

So that's the problem I have encountered today.

Everything is working fine for me. Maybe try deleting your cookies then re-enter info. I am using Internet Explorer 5.0.

No problem here. After you delete your cookies and reenter, remember to check the box to remember preferences.

Decided to come back on line for a few minutes to see if the problem has been fixed, but I still have it. Also, no lightbulbs shining on my index page.

I have deleted and reset preferences and that works fine during that session. But after shuting down the computer and starting up again...no bulbs or last visit. The problem for me seems to be only with Netscape (4.7) for Windows. With Internet Explorer the cookies seem to be working just fine.

I'm using IE, PremEx, so maybe it is a Netscape problem.

I'm also running Netscape (4.61 for the Mac), so this is likely the problem. I plead total ignorance as to how to fix this problem, or why it should be the case for Webflyer only, since when I sign into AA's site, my FF number does come up on the screen and I just have to input my password to get into my account.

Interesting that on the PlaneBusiness board, which is also a UBB site, Netscape is fine.

Bulbs & folders work OK there...

Netscape will not hold Preferences here.

Yes Shadow, same thing here. I seem to recall earlier this year when FT changed servers they had the reverse problem...Netscape worked and IE did not. Hope FT can fix it.

Have the latest Netscape 4.71 and I still don't have my light blubs.

Guess someone ate my cookies.

Got Milk? NO, but I have 9 12 packs of PEPSI!

I haven't had cookies work with Flyertalk in a long time. They work everywhere else though. I'm using Netscape 4.6 for Windows now.

If anyone finds the problem, let me know.
