Hi arw203! Please make sure that the email address that we have on file for you is up to date. In the meantime, I have sent you a password reminder. That should enable you to reset it. Please let me know if you don't receive this email either.

Still waiting FlyerTalk!

Me too :(

Any resolution in sight?

Another one of "those" weekends here. Not much email from FlyerTalk, but when I checked threads in which I'm interested this Monday morning, there is much. Perhaps the person responsible for pushing the alerts was off this weekend. To be sure, this hasn't happened since my last visit to this thread. ...And some are coming through this morning.

Did this ever get fixed? I assume not since I'm still not receiving forum updates via e-mail but perhaps someone has figured out a workaround in the meantime?

aleksir Feb 26, 2014 8:48 am

It has not been fixed to my knowledge. I have been without mail updates for years.

Inbox seemed oddly quiet on the FlyerTalk front earlier today, even though I was active on the boards, and seeing lots of responses. Then received 29 alerts over about the last hour, starting at 4:48 EDT. All seemed to be delayed about four hours from the time of the FT post that they contained.

Twenty seven hours to receive an email notice of a post. Also, few notices, so who knows what others haven't still haven't arrived? Does someone have the weekend off? The holiday weekend, when suchlike usually happens, is next weekend!

Recommend you change email providers. AOL is notoriously finicky. Obtain a free gmail or yahoo email and switch over -- you'll be surprised how much better it is.

Regarding yahoo email (and at&t email), I've been having issues with both accounts where I do not receive talkmail* and haven't for almost a year. I've toggled back and forth between both addresses and let them sit for at least a month and nothing comes thru with the response from at&t being that the sender is being blocked as a spammer

*I receive PM e-mail notifications and e-mail sent thru flyertalk but nothing when it comes to talkmail

email!

While Flyertalk apologizes that some people may receive double emails, I received my first one in years:mad:

Mee 2! And again today. To me this was one of the best features of this board. I hope it stays.

Is the Fix In?

First time in 38 months to have 2 days in a row. Too early to call victory but I am now hopefully cautious.
