Now I'm not receiving any FT email
 

As we all know, there were problems with the new post emails cramming our in-boxes. Now, I haven't received a single FT email since this afternoon. I know that the threads have been updated, but I haven't been notified..:(

Me too! I just noticed this and it seems to have been going on for about 8 hours or so.

And again I did not receive my early morning batch of emails as reported previously several times this month! The problem has returned yet again.

Me too. No emails from FT since last night. Have to keep refreshing the thread to see if there's a reply.

I'm on Yahoo.com.sg email.

Me five. I hope we're not setting ourselves up for a barrage of 200+ emails two weeks from now. I've actually contemplated the idea of unsubscribing from all subscribed threads in order to remove myself from this drama, but doing so would suck up close to an hour of my time (slow FT connection in China and almost 4,000 threads).

At any rate, I'm shocked that IB hasn't solved the problem at hand yet. It's too bad none of the FT clone sites have achieved significant traction yet.

Tech is trying to track down the problem on why it's still occurring for some of you and not all of us.

We'll update you as soon as we know.

Same issue here... also not getting notifications of PMs.

In that case, "instant" email notification for subscribed thread activity stopped about 2 days ago for me.

Two PMs to my inbox today; no email notification.

I should have received at least 100 FT emails today, but nothing has come through.. A number of times today, I've wondered if my phone was broken. I've only gotten 30 emails today..

add me to the list. no email notifications on pm's. had 2 waiting for me when i just logged in and they were sent some 5 hours ago! (and in the past, i have rec'd my email notification within 10 minutes of the pm being sent). not good if something is time sensitive. :mad: please fix.

I'd PM IBSteph but doubt she'd receive an email that she has a PM :(

I subscribed to this thread and just got your message, nothing else though yet :)

We believe we have solved the problem, however we will continue to monitor to ensure delivery continues.

Past emails from the outage period will NOT be sent to users.

That's good for me, as I bet I would have at least 5-600 waiting for me!:eek:

I have not been receiving emails about updates to subscribed threads for a few days now. It also appears as if I'm not being automatically subscribed to threads in which I post, or those I start, despite that the settings in my profile say to subscribe me by default.

For a few of the threads that I've participated in, but stopped receiving updates, as well as threads in which I've recently posted for the first time, if I click on "thread tools" at the top of the thead's page, it gives me the option "subscribe to this thread" -- normally it would not show this as it would reflect that I'm already subscribed.

rec'd 1 e-mail this morning for 1 pm sent last night. hopefully it has beein fixed and mine is not a one-off (pun intended ;))

Kind of the same with me. Got 2 emails yesterday, totally not at the usual time. Today I got one email, again not at the usual time. Yesterday it was 2 forum subscriptions, today it was a thread subsription.

Haven't gotten thread subscriptions which is quite irritating because one of the threads has some deadlines in it, but did get one PM notification.

I'm having the opposite of your problem. I'm receiving thread subscriptions just fine, but haven't gotten a single message for the multiple PM that I've been sent...

For the last 2-3 days I have NOT been receiving any of my forum subscription updates (the ones that go out around midnight PST). I'm getting the instant subscribed thread updates though.
Same thing happened to me for a few days around first week of August.

Approximately 2 hours ago: 2 thread update emails (including 1 for this thread) and 1 forum update email.

I have had no thread update emails since the 17th.

I've started getting subscribed thread notifications via email again - be still my beating heart :D
