Three thread update notifications arrived since my last posting... No forum notifications... I wonder if it all is completely random?

Seems that way. I've only received notification for two out of 4 forums I'm subscribed to. Earlier in the week I was receiving no notification at all.

Still not receiving emails about PM. any idea when it will be fixed, IB?

For the last 4 days, I've just been receiving only one 6 or 7 subscribed thread notifications ... checked my spam folder, checked my subscriptions - everything is in order, but no emails :(

I haven't been getting emails for some time as well. But then about 4 days ago I started receiving 1 email for one of the forums I am subscribed to. I even tried unsubscribe and re-subscribe, still nothing.

Sometimes I get em and sometimes I don't...

Now seem to be getting thread notifications, but no forum notifications.

Is there any confirmation anywhere that FT is even aware of this issue?

I love FT and will always appreciate it so I don't want to come across as ungrateful for all the hard work that gets done behind-the-scenes.

I have let tech know about this thread. The problem is that everything looks 100% OK on our end. Our email system has been checked up and down , twice all over- and they can't find anything that seems wrong or linked to your problem.

Received only one update today, should have been five updates. The one I got was a weekly update, the daily updates didn't come today either.

I've now checked my mailservers logs today, the ones that receive mail directly from your servers (mx5.internetbrands.com) , and could not see any traces of more than one connection. Looks like the problem is in your end somewhere.

+1 -- no forum updates at midnight. It's been a week or so now, which is why I started searching and found this info.

No forum email updates for a couple of weeks. Unsubscribed and subscribed again...no luck. Changed email addresses...got confirmation email, but still no nightly forum updates.

I tried the unsubscribe/subscribe thing you described (kept same email address though) and it made no difference.
Instead of the 5 forum update emails I have been receiving for years, I now only get 2, with the occasional post update email.

Please let's get this fixed ASAP! :(

If it's of any help for you to know, I did get emails a few days ago. It was only one night though, since then the problem is back.

Now it's happening intermittently for me. It was working fine, but I noticed over the last few days that a few emails here and there are missing.

Just wanted to follow-up. I've been having a few issues today. Emails for new posts have not been showing up, until 15-25 minutes after the post is added to the thread.. Any ideas?

I haven't gotten my flyertalk forum subscriptions for the last two days (though I did get 2 thread update emails ... there probably should be more). Anybody else or just me?

Me too. Was wondering if some new company spam filters kicked in or something. Are your deliveries going through company filtering? Possible that Flyertalk is using a non-verified mailhost to send? I've seen that one before.

Nope, just regular old gmail. I checked spam folder, and nothing there either.

I just sent myself an email to two different email addresses via both the command line of each server and the vbulletin instance of each server. I received all emails as expected. I'm looking now into the queue of our outgoing email server to see if we can find anything fishy.

I don't subscribe to a lot of threads by email, but the few that I do have occasionally (as of late) been sent 10-15 minutes after they should have, so there seems to be at least some sort of occasional delay, if nothing else.

my subscribed emails just suddenly stopped coming last few days.

I'm getting most of my mail, but some of it isn't coming through. For me the problem just started this morning.

I don't think i have ever gotten an instant email
 

I have signed up for instant email notification but have never gotten one. Now i get an email once and a while for the Chicago event but that is about it.

This combined with a cookie problems has me wondering if Flyertalk lost a disk and recovered from an old backup?

Ha. No, but we're investigating this. Any further data you can provide may be helpful, and if you hear of any other FTers who are having this issue please encourage them to post. So far it looks like about 10 members.

Yes I checked, even though Flyertalk mail never goes into Spam. Again, I'm getting most of my mail, just not all of it.

Flyertalk never goes to my spam...however, I did check everything.

Can you guys stop bumping this thread? I'm tired of getting the emails.

FYI, we're working on diagnosing the problem.

So, I'm still getting the thread updates (both daily and immediate), and still not getting the daily forum emails. I tried unsubscribing and resubscribing to one of the forums yesterday to see if that did the trick, but no luck. Thanks for looking into it.

So, that's different from what we've heard so far. We know we're getting notifications from the site, but what it sounds like users are seeing is that thread update emails aren't being sent.

We're still digging.
