Disabling the "I Voted" avatar

FWIW, I like my "I Voted" icon.

I had forgotten that voting was going on until I saw the avatar on other posts. Then I immediately went and voted so that others would see my decoration with which I use to boost my low self-esteem.

Nobody can make mountains out of molehills like FT'ers.

Well, I'll go out on a limb and agree with the OP. If he doesn't want it, then he should have the option to not display. (I don't necessarily agree with the tone of the message.)

I voted and want it to show, but somehow my icon doesn't show. I can't find the spot in the options to select the icon to show... can anyone help?

Could this be the same IE/Firefox issue?
