Question TAP A321LR Neo Best Seat? Row 6 or 11?

Newbie here, sorry for my ignorance. We're flying Toronto to Lisbon with TAP in June on an A321LR Neo overnight. All comfort seats are available except 6a which is blocked, It's a bulkead seat. We plan to get Comfort seats. Is it better in the first row after Business class because there seems to be room to stand up and pass in front of your neighbours to get in and out instead of crawling over them? This would be row 6 on this plane. Or is it better in row 11 just in front of the exit row because you could recline fully without bothering the row 12 passengers too much?

Here is the seating description:
TAP Air Portugal operates nine Airbus A321neo LR aircraft in a 16J 155M long-haul configuration.

In Economy Class, seats located in the front seven rows are marketed as EconomyXtra and offer greater leg room and recline. These are located at rows 6 to 12 and are indicated on the seat map with red accents

Most definitely row 6. Good legroom, no-one reclines into you and you can even get up from the window seat without disturbing the other passengers in that row too much. Row 11 will most likely have very limited recline due to the exit behind - on most narrow body planes economy seats in front of exit row have limited or no recline.

I am in the same boat. I am looking to book on the A321 NEO from IAD to LIS. On the site it says that row 11 does recline, but row 12 doesn't, which is interesting because the exit door is located between the two rows. So to me, exit 12 should recline, but not 11, right?! I am leaning towards row 6 but am hoping that the bathrooms aren't there. I can't find photos online and SeatGuru seems conflicting.

Why not go for row 12?

I was in row 11 yesterday and the seat did recline, I dont know if it was any less than the rest of the EconomyXtra rows though. Row 6 has far more legroom (though legroom in 11 was more than enough) but no under-seat storage.

Use Aerolopa, not SeatGuru, which is quasi moribund. The toilets are on the A-C side by row 6. But all these rows have very adequate leg room, unless you are well over 2 metres tall then I doubt you will feel cramped.

Thanks for the input. When hovering over row 12 with the computer mouse, it says "Comfortable legroom; no recline". I don't want to sit upright for an overnight flight! lol

Has anyone tried seat 23D which is facing the FA jump seat. I was told that it has more leg room is that true? I dont care if I am facing the FA during take off and landing. Anyone who has tried that?

6a blocked means someone booked it? If it is just not selectable try clicking on to select it. You may be able to book.

Is there a final verdict on whether Row 12 (exit row) reclines? Thanks all!
