TAP Portugal: Lounge access when crediting to LH but *A Gold w/United
Not sure if I should be posting this in the United or Miles & More forum but here it goes.
I'm flying out on TAP from LIS - TXL tomorrow Nov. 6. As I am on a discount fare I would get zero miles if I credit to Mileage plus. I figured I might as well credit it to Miles & More since I would get something. Problem is, I'm only Frequent Traveler on Miles & More so theoretically wouldn't get lounge access. I am however *A Gold through United. Is it enough if I have my Mileage Plus card that shows my status or does it have to match my boarding pass?

My suggestion is to print a BP (or get one for mobile purposes) that allows you to get into the lounge, and then go back and change the number to the one you want to credit to. use the first to get into the lounge (that also gets you priority security) and use the second for boarding.
Alternatively, showing the card at the lounge entrance works fine as well.
