Talkboard Application
Still haven't decided whether I'm running, but I do know the deadline is tonight for applications. And yet, the sticky has disappeared and I can't find it. Can anyone help me?

Easy answer. The auto notice asks you to enter a "start date" and an "end date." We took it to mean that it would end on Oct. 30, that is run through the end of the day. But, apparently what the auto notice does is end it at the start of the day - 12:01 a.m. Oct. 30, rather than what we thought, end at the end of the day, 11:59 pm Oct. 30. Anyway, it seems reasonable that each of us would have interpreted what the "end date" means a little differently and we now have it fixed, ending on "Oct. 31" when in fact is really end today, Oct. 30.
Hope that makes sense. We learn something new everyday around here.
