Actually there is a button to push that would have recalculated everyone's total back to then. I decided that really wasn't a good idea and passed on pressing the button.

I'm having a hard time believing much of anything these days. Sorry, there's just too much evidence to the contrary.

Go ahead and push the button. You didn't do anyone a favor today and didn't do the site any either. My opinion, only, which isn't worth any more than any other member's.

The evidence is that OMNI post counts being re-enabled was a deliberate act and there's an attempt at time based amnesia going on.

Just one member's (no more or less important than any other member's) opinion.

Unless people in OMNI are clicking on ads, it won't matter if traffic slows down there. But really, do you have any data to back up your statement that a whole lot of people ... have lost the incentive to post?

OK... time for this thread to take a time out.

We have asked for people to stay on topic... and that has not happened.

If you have a question for Randy and his decision, there is PM, email or his own forum ORP.

As of yesterday, OMNI posts no longer count in overall post counts that are displayed for each member.

The Talkboard is apparently have some discussions on any recommendations they may wish to make to Randy in that regard.

For those who wish to continue debating the "timeline" there is an OMNI thread and ORP thread that is doing that currently.

Until we reopen this thread.... happy posting.
