Temporary Forum Request for US & HP merger
With the recent announcement of the US & HP merger, there have been on going discussions in the US, HP, UA, AC, and *A forums about the potential impact of what the merger means for US & HP, and how it would affect *, UA since it has potential veto power of the new US in *, and AC for its equity state in the new entity.
I am proposing a temporary forum be setup for the discussion of the merger and its potential impacts. When I look at many of the threads that are going on in the respective forums on this topic there appears to be a large amount of overlap and it would be useful for all parties to be able to go to one locatioon and view all of the relative discussions on this topic.

In addition to the ones you mentioned, there are also active threads in the DL and WN forums as well.
The problem with designating a specific forum for mergers is that the folks that are most interested will probably want to discuss it in their regular forums.
Im not sure how much of an audience a generic forum will attract.
