With the recent announcement of the US & HP merger, there have been on going discussions in the US, HP, UA, AC, and *A forums about the potential impact of what the merger means for US & HP, and how it would affect *, UA since it has potential veto power of the new US in *, and AC for its equity state in the new entity.

I am proposing a temporary forum be setup for the discussion of the merger and its potential impacts. When I look at many of the threads that are going on in the respective forums on this topic there appears to be a large amount of overlap and it would be useful for all parties to be able to go to one locatioon and view all of the relative discussions on this topic.
