Deep in thought, and hard at work, albeit very quietly, no doubt!

The Edison company in NY used to say, "We're working harder to serve you better."

Nobody believed them either.

Actually they have been chatting about a few things but I have asked them to wait until I get in place the next round of moderators and their roles. The Board put together and supports a nice set of guidelines for moderators and I've been putting aside the minutes to launch that initiative. They have been wonderful to work with and they have been thinking about the next elections and how we'll probably stagger the Board to have some continuity to continue with.

Randy,

Thanks for responding Staggering board sounds like a great idea. Perhaps requiring the voters to pick 3 (just a random number) currently serving members during the vote would ensure continuity. Will there be new appointees as well? Or are they "permanent" fixtures?

Staggering board? Should be plenty of qualified candidates.

Try instead: The board is staggering in its quality.

missy, dear, if you find that it's awfully quiet in here, perhaps we could start a big bad flame war.

CB,

Just to protect my chat buddy FM, I might add that some American's are boycotting French products.

Missy, the question is as age old as politics. Is more or less government better. I believe LESS is generally better. Things are quiet on FT. Everybody seems well behaved, things are good. So why do anything, just to do something??? It often best not to mess with things as long as they work. Now if you have a SPECIFIC issue you'd like worked on... feel free to post a request.
