Merry, I agree with you.

Pam, I think you are being too hard on yourself.

But, why dont we just portray things like they are in reality? No matter if the management of these boards is done by committee, or by one single person, there will always be room for discretionary behavior. IMO, the "Flyertalk copycat?" thread that was started on Community and then "quietly closed" with no consequences to a poster that flamed proves exactly that.

(PG, these comments are in NO WAY directed at you, I simply found your statement very apt)

Unfortunately, as with so many other situations in life, that 2% and those involved is/are really screwing it up for us and are making life more difficult for Randy. At what point is something finally going to push him over the edge to say, "It's not worth it, pull the plug"? And for what? So they can grind their axe until they've completely worn away?

We're all guests here. Unfortunately some of us have no manners whatsoever and apparently have forgotten or never were taught how to be respectful when in another's house. What's reprehensible is that these are professionals that should know better.
