This is going to be an absolute game-changer in terms of mega threading, etc.
Let's hope implementation goes smoothly!
HUGE kudos to IB and our Community Director. ^^^^

That's right. We need the help of every willing poster on FT to create these resource posts. It would be great if every master thread on a hotel in each hotel forum had a wiki post, capturing key information about the hotel. And that's just one example of the valuable work that can be done. We hope that folks will find their own "little patch of grass" to tend and help keep current.
We're trying to be mindful in how we roll this out and not get ahead of ourselves. In the first phase, we found some technical hiccups that the IB tech team has addressed. Now, with wide deployment across FT, we'll find out if there is more that needs done from a technical design standpoint. By early summer, we hope to open up permissions for everyone who meets some metric of time on FT and number of posts.
We currently plan no wiki capability in the Omnis.

I just wanted to add a special thank you to Carol.
Its hard to see (and honestly even image) the amount work that she put in to get Wiki Posts live but I assure you it was significant.
Well done Carol!!!

Something really funny's happening here.
When I edit the wiki, and click done, it redirects me to a different post in a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT thread?!?!?!?!?!
I tried it thrice, and each time it redirected at the end.
The wiki gets updated though.
Edit: And now it's stopped doing that.

I assume it's in the development queue (it was reported to IB and acknowledged by them). There is a thread to report problems with wikis linked in Carol's announcement about the wiki functionality. Perhaps you may want to post there, as IB may be able to respond about the status of that bug.
