It is not the same. The C class seats on the A330-200 is 10 years old and it is outdated seats that do not recline or give you any good night sleep. While on the A340 the seats are much better and have better recline.

Took LX41 yesterday and can confirm the great experience. the inflight service was superb in C ^
The seat however was not comfortable at all and also way too short. I had to pull my legs into an angle all the time and I'm just 1.85m !
I would take it anytime again over UA anyways
... and LH as well !
Oh yeah, the LX ground staff in LAX isn't very good
