I enjoyed my visit to the airy Terminal E lounge, which progressively became busier as the morning wore on. There's a lot of space there and a few quiet areas. I particularly liked the concept of a cook present to cook your breakfast or lunch.
I was collared into filling out a questionnaire about the lounge and how it could be improved, maybe because I had a 4 hour layover. Two of the suggestions that I made were 1) add another work cubicle space because the existing one is not well placed and is cramped; 2) add a carpet to the initial walkway info the lounge: not only will it preserve and prolong the life of the heavily used wooden floor, it will cut down the clack clack noise of people walking back and forth.

Could someone add a wiki for the latest lounge status? I read through the last few pages but am a bit confused.
I flew LX F on 15/10 and had a great experience in E FCL. I am flying home tomorrow (22/10) on LX F, and wanted to try out the A FCL. It seemed like I could enter despite them having a sign saying "we're doing construction". So some questions:
1. Is the A FCL Open? Partially or otherwise?
2. Can I go to the A FCL and ask for a Limo escort to E FCL? (For the novelty )
Thkx.

And yes again, you can request a shuttle to E (just not back).
Enjoy!

Yes, you can! As you mentioned implicitely, you will have to cross passport control, so you need to be legal doing this. I have heard of very few incidents where someone was turned down at the passport control after being asked where they are flying. And if I am not totally mistaken, the Lounge in D (nonschengen) is one of the official replacements for the closed A lounges at the moment. So if they will not let you cross passport control downstairs directly to E, you might want to try at the B/D crossing and head to E then (which includes an additional security check).

here is the promised report- - Swiss A/B lounges are all closed, Business till April 2018. There is Swiss stuff providing info and they direct me to D lounge - behind passport control. No questions asked there but the guy in front of me was asked where is he going. Passport officer was happy with "lounge only" answer. on the way back to A/B I run into peak hours - 10+ minutes waiting time at passport control. would be stupid to miss the flight just because of lounge.....no additional security between A/B and D.

Arriving and departing in D: Arrival lounge if you can access Schengen freely, alternatively SEN E (a bit of a detour, but much better than SEN D, especially regarding the shower)

I booked my family through ZRH to CDG. We will be arriving from ORD in J. I am *G and definitely interested in checking out the whiskey bar. Will I be able to bring my wife and 3 year old daughter to the Senator Lounge or is it very limited to one guest?

Technically it's one for *G (note that in contrast, SEN and HON explicitly state that children are included), not sure how strictly it will be enforced. I've never said "no" to a friendly request to guest in a child, however. I call it "repo adoption"
