Exclamation Web Check-In Problem

Hi!

Just checked-in for my ZRH-CPH flight tomorrow. Unfortunately the site displayed "Zeitlimit überschritten" (although it took me only 30 seconds to complete the steps) before I could save the PDF with the boarding-pass.

When I tried again the system did not find my ticket. I suppose the boarding process was already completed.

Should I just stop by the Web Check-In counter in ZRH tomorrow to retrieve my boarding-pass or should I call them?

Thanks for your help!

-Thomas

You are most probably checked-in. You can stop by the web check-in counter to get your boarding pass.

this happened to me before, too.

This is very likely when you don't have a direct connection to swiss.com (like in many offices, you have a "proxy server" between your PC and the Swiss website which causes time-outs).

In fact you are check in, but could not print your boarding pass.

So you might call them and verify that you REALLY are check-in. At the airport, you need to collect your boarding pass at the dedicated counter.

There is no way to re-do the web-checkin procedure once it failed.

Happens to me almost all the time, even when I check-in from home, where I definitely don't have a proxy server.

IMHO the system is not quite stable. Hope they improve it soon.

I have done Web-Check-In a number of times form home and office, also abroad and never encountered such a problem...

Back from my weekend trip. Everything was fine in the end. Boarding pass was printed within seconds at the Web-Check-In counter. As most of you had told me I was already checked in successfully!

Maybe they should introduce something like a confirmation eMail that the process was indeed successful! Would help!

Greetings, Thomas
