10,000 Bonus Miles from Avis
This seems to be a targeted promotion, and might have been sent to me because of the number of rentals I did this Summer.

6 rentals with Avis between 1 Oct. 2003 and 31 Mar. 2004 will yield 10,000 bonus miles. The breakdown is as follows:

1st Rental: 1,000 bonus miles
2nd Rental: 1,250 bonus miles
3rd Rental: 1,500 bonus miles
4th Rental: 1,750 bonus miles
5th Rental: 2,000 bonus miles
6th Rental: 2,500 bonus miles

Is it necessary to subscribe or do the miles come automatically?

Actually, I´ve got no link, just a personalized e-mail. I think it must be a targeted promotion based on previous activity.
