From a reliable source in Zurich, I am told that LX is now testing its TSA Pre-check system and that testing and roll out is planned for the end of the month of August. Hoooray !!!!!!!!!

What an utter failure:
  • TSA PreCheck is so awesome, even bancrupt airlines become part of it!
  • Good luck trying to buy that Swissair Ticket though!
  • It is rumored that the next airlines to join TSA Pre Check are PanAm as well as Sabena.

TSA uses old Swissair Logo to represent SWISS in recent pre check announcement

Tbh, this deserves its own thread. This is to damn hilarious.

  • Altough it might provide difficult to actually buy a Swissair ticket...

Im not sure if I should be laughing or crying...

Should we be glad already that they didnt put a flag if Sweden in the tweet? And why should we expect tweets from a US bureaucracy to be smarter than those from their commander in chief?

Had TSAPre on my boarding card this weekend at EWR departing with LX for ZRH. But defeats the purpose given that there were no TSAPre lanes...

Exaaaaaactly.

Looking at my BP for LX 9 ORD-ZRH, it has a nice "TSA PRE" in the upper right corner (just under the always amusing check in order # 001)

Except ORD T5 doesn't have a TSA line. I knew this before I agreed to fly LX out of there but not only is this stuff idiotic, the whole transfer system at ORD is really third world.
