Why no TSA Pre Check in the US for LX?

I don't know if the situation has changed (I do hope so, though), but last year you could only take the airside bus if you were a BA/AA customer. I had a connection from AA (domestic) to SK (international) and I was forced to go landside and go through security in T5. Needless to say that the T5 experience was a PITA.

It has officially been announced by TSA (woth an epic fail as they used the logo of old Swissair).
