FT Hints, Tips...
As a new user, I have found the "FT Hints, Tips, and Suggestions" thread put together by Canarsie to be VERY helpful. However, I feel like it is buried in the "Technical Issues" Forum. Would it be possible to include a link to the thread under either the FAQ or the New User Guide (or both)?
The Tech. Issues Forum is "Feedback for problems with the flyertalk.com board system". Knowing how to include a link to an individual post isn't a "problem with the FT board system" (at least in my mind). It's either a New User issue or a FAQ. The New User Guide & FAQ are not set-up to handle ongoing threads, so I understand that "FT H,T,&S" doesn't exactly fit. Considering the options, Tech. Issues is probably the appropriate forum for the thread, but I think a link from the FAQ and/or New User's Guide would help other new users (and maybe some not-so-new) benefit from the great info. Canarsie has put together (with help from other FTers).
If the Using FT Wiki is going to replace the FT H,T,&S thread, I believe my same points apply. Great info - just not easy to find. A link under FAQ would make it much more accessible.
