events upon arrival section??

events upon arrival section??
i'd like a section where if i was visiting an area i could search for events happening around the time i'm visiting; like.. shows, exclusive performances and/or regional acts. LA has the highly anticipated contender rematch b/w mora and manfredo in october, for instance, with seating available through ticketmaster. postings by people from each region would allow for more non-advertised events to be filtered to those who would not normally see them!
