Can someone lower the bottom limit of characters allowed per post to below 10?
Try posting a smiley in response - vBulletin, as it's set up, won't let you - you must post something at least 10 characters long! 
Can someone please change this, to lower the limit to 1 or something?

I actually prefer that we not be able to post one or two character responses.
Just posting a smiley does not add anything to a thread other than to your post count.
For many people who access this board via modem or slow connections, those types of posts take much time to load.
So, I would actually prefer to see a 10 character limit or something like that.

How is it that others are posting replies less than 10 characters (I think), and I can not? Discrimination? Prejudice?

True. But, let's say, you wanted to post a news story inside of the "quote" function on an existing thread. That doesn't count towards your 10 characters, so you can't just post the story, which is annoying.
