Where have all the posts gone?

Where have all the posts in MilesBuzz gone? Have they been moved to new forums and left no forwarding address?

Just speaking for myself, I have stopped posting to this board because the moderators are so heavy-handed. Undoubtedly, they will close this thread shortly.

i have been concerned re this for a while. finally have learned to navigate thru the 4 boards & think that in the long run, the change is for the better. some of the stuff posted is just chat. but what many people want is info. being interested in travel, i like the info that is freely provided. however, smilies should be banned.

Moderator1 chooses to lock up and move every topic that is posted into small forums where noone will read them.

This is really becoming ridiculous and extremely annoying.

bdschobel, I think that you're not the only person who has stopped posting here. This is the only thread with any activity in MilesBuzz today.

The intent to keep this FORUM orientated to MILES ONLY! is a good objective. With so many members posting the same 'beginning' questions, it has become much less interesting. to wade through all the strings. Learning to use the other Forums is not that difficult, so the simple questions for hotels, dining or directions can be taken out of MILES BUZZ!

I am for keeping this topic exclusively for MILES ONLY! Just look at what is being asked for on here. 'How do I find a mileage run from (city or your choice)? or What is a good hotel in Rome? In other words, people are just dumping every question that comes to mind under MilesBuzz! And there many of them! Let's add a little discretion and seperate the Subjects. Just like your corner Library!

I am not for dumping everything in MilesBuzz, but in case you haven't noticed, the board's activity is dwindling. Probably because people don't want to post something only to have it locked up, as I'm sure this one will be.

Bring back the old FT.

I seldom even look at this board anymore. It seems like the moderator is being paid by how many threads are locked and moved. I'm not so sure that this is as good of a move as hoped. This used to be the first board I read

Good idea R&R who wants all those messy posts cluttering up our bulletin board.

Even though I am new, I am leaving the board
and going back to being a lurker when I
have time. I was a lurker for a long time and when I did start posting was about the
time the change happened. Can't say I like
the way the FT police are carrying out their
new duties.

I don't disagree with the policy, but the way
it is being handle.....

Did some of Delta's RPU people infiltrate FT
and are now moderators?

It's been a slice guys. I am off to
Singapore, Shanghai, and then Shanghai again
so I won't have time to lurk, much less post,
only to have "Simply good BB" happen to me.

"Simply good BB" -- I like that!

Shortly the FPU (Forum Protection Unit) will be along to lock this thread.

Which, incidentally, is still the only thread with any activity today.

Never let common sense get in the way of procedure.

I agree with all sentiments here - I've never seen so many locked posts !
Why not politely advise the postee of the correct forum for future reference - we don't purposely put our queries where they're not wanted !
May be a topic for RP ?
