I've been meaning to suggest this for quite a while and what with the new changes and moderators perhaps it's an even better idea now?

Unless you go to the very "root" of Flyertalk you really don't know what a given forum is for. I navigate by using the popup menu and seldom if ever see the frontpage.

I would suggest taking the forum definition, or maybe even an expanded "posting guidelines" version of it, and putting it at the top of that forum's page AND at the top of the POST NEW TOPIC page. These pages have "Who Can Post?" and "About Registration" which seem less useful and meaningful than stating what the focus of the forum is.

Thanks.
