Flyertalk Store question
Hi,
Thanks for reopening the Flyertalk Store.
Question... I cannot find the Flyertalk Luggage Tags. Have they been discountinued or did I miss them? I found them to be the only thing I used from the store...
Any chance of a different Luggage tag?

Hi Wharvey,
The store does not currently have the FT luggage tags -- those are being distributed through request to Carol.
As to other types of luggage tags, we have looked at trying to procure a hard plastic logo tag from another vendor (unfortunately not available at Cafepress yet), but we've heard conflicting sentiments on that; some say the yellow laminated FT tags are the only ones they're interested in, and others say they'd like to see something more durable and/or with the ability to put an address into it. What do you think?

Paul,
I much prefer something more durable... that allows for a business card. In fact, had made that request a few times over the years in the ORP forum.
Any reason both options could not be available? In all honesty, I think you would have more interest in those items than FT buttons...
I like both options... the yellow laminated ones are great for getting noticed by other FTers... but the business card one is more practical.

I'd look to supplying both options also - the yellow ones are iconic and make mutual identification easy (let's face it, no self-respecting FTer put bags in the hold, now, do they?
)
But a tag that has your contact details has its merits also - whether filled in, or by leaving a slot for a business card.

you could use a sharpie to write your contact info on the FT Thong, and then strap that to your luggage
