Any post-airport mess upgrades or reduced rates at Le Meridien Khao Lak?

Any post-airport mess upgrades or reduced rates at Le Meridien Khao Lak?
Assuming we don't change our vacation plans in the wake of the airport takeovers in Bangkok, my wife and I will be staying at LM Khao Lak in late January on points, in an upper floor poolside room. But we'd be open to shelling out some money for the room instead, or more points or cash for an upgrade if the price is right. Does anyone have any post-takeover experience with the hotel substantially dropping its cash rates or offering upgrades to suites or villas (whether for cash or points)? If so, I guess I'd be curious about whether they're doing it upon arrival or beforehand.
And which sites would likely have the lowest cash prices for rooms there?
