If you have chose Airline Direct Deposit how do SPG points-based promotions affect this? Or do they at all?

For example, if I've selected Southwest for Airline Direct Deposit and get .5 credits for each stay what affect does the double/triple upcoming point promotion have on that? Is it nothing or would I get 1.0 or 1.5 credits per stay depending on if I qualify for double/triple?

This evening I tried it again and got the confirmation on the SPG end. We'll see how long it takes to post to the SW side.
Followup -- The credit posted today (9/3) with an activity date of 8/19 and I got my award. Whew!

Any other news or examples of how long these transfers are taking? I may make a transfer for an upcoming trip, but it's two weeks away.

I just did a 20k SPG point transfer and it happened really quickly. I transferred the points from SPG on the evening of 10/7 and it posted to my SWA RR account by the morning of 10/11. As that transfer was very fast, I did an additional 60k SPG points transfer on 10/11, however this one has yet to post. I'm crossing my fingers that it completes just as fast as the first transfer and posts by tomorrow so I can make use of the companion pass for a flight I'm on tomorrow.

I'll update this thread when it does post.

How long does SPG pts trf to Southwest Air take?

I am needing a few Rapid Rewards credits by next Monday. Will a SPG points transfer today (Friday) post to SW in time? Otherwise, how long does a points transfer generally take to appear?

Thanks!

So are we really no longer eligible to transfer SPG points to WN any longer? According to this page from the WN website... I was thinking of transferring points to get a CP on WN but I guess I'm out of luck? Does anyone have any more insight?
