My understanding that this may be non-dependent on the property you might be staying. Which one are you referring in particular?

extremely disappointed - how come that I never received this kind of offer?

it is not because i have 10 upcoming stays that I am totally ignored... very unfair.

I really think it actually makes sense to work toward Hyatt LT Diamond now rather than SPG LT Plat since whatever Hyatt offers I am in the email chain...

This sounds like the normal one that AFAIK everyone got.

They can find water on Mars, but SPG can't find a few measly bonus points to throw my way as an offer.

If it's only a "few measly bonus points" why do you need it so bad

But yes, I'm sort of disappointed that showing loyalty seems to result in less special offers. Used to it already though. Not upset enough to shift stays... yet.

It's better to receive nothing than to receive a promo that has such a high barrier to entry you can't possibly use it!

SPG has a lot of work to do to figure this thing out because all it's doing is pissing a lot of people off.

It is really pissing me off given how poor point accrual is within the main scheme and how woeful the Starwood promos are.

The fact that other members who are staying as often as me are getting these deals (sometimes repeatedly) is rubbing salt into the wounds and causing me to think long and hard about my stay preferences for this year and beyond.

Zilch. Had 170+ nights last year and only at 58 this year. Probably won't re-qualify for Ambassador. My remaining stays have gone to Hyatt with their way more generous promos (essentially 2-3 nights anywhere worth of points for 25 nights).

At least the normal SPG promo is decent this trimester.

Nothing for me. Don't see how this can work in SPG's favor. Pissing off Platinum members can't be all that great for business. I was not targeted for any offer and this is quite disappointing. I'd stay more if I were targeted. To me that is a simple business concept that SPG doesn't seem to understand.

Would love it is one of the lurkers might get me in for one of the promotions. Marriott, for the most part, allows it's top tier to pick the promo that works best for them.

Tried the promo but couldn't get it to work which is a shame as I have about 15 spg stays during the remainder of the year. Maybe I didn't get it because I have already booked all those stays?

Disappointed.
