Agreed, 100% opposed. I am earning lifetime plat the hard way, and on my own dime.

Wow -- here we go! If Centurion dropped it for $250K expected spend ($5K initiation fee + $2.5K annual) what price tag could it be?
But spend at SPG may be an option. Say, if your spend is $20K (15 nights at some Cat 7 places or suites at many other @ €1K a night) -- her we go!
