Merging miles within *A?

Hi all,

I have around 100K miles in a BMI account and an SAS Eurobonus Silver with around the same number of miles. I contacted BMI regarding consolidating these into aone account but got the "standard" response of "no - you cannot merge miles".

Does anyone know of any way to do this?

thanks in advance

Unfortunately BMI was right. There is no way you can do this. Most airline programs are one way so once the miles are in there they can not go to any other program (but sometimes move to other people in the same program).

If you want to use them for an award then the only way is to book separate tickets using your two accounts.

100k miles should get you a lot further than AMS. Unless you are not in Europe of course.

But for example if you wanted to go to Australia from Europe than one program can do CPH-BKK-CPH and the other program can do BKK-SYD-BKK.
