Now is the time to become good friends with your local UA agent. Actually even knowing the possible routings (but not availability) was very helpful when booking an intra-europe award. The nonstop flights I wanted ex-LHR were full, so I routed via FRA and ZRH :)

The UA Japan Voice Response line is also great for Star Alliance award availability.

Awards on the ANA own metal show up normally, so the problem must be with the Starnet access, not with the tool itself.

I don't know if this is a case of StarNet being down or the ANA website connection to StarNet being down. In addition, airlines could always put in a request for a seat.

We know how this works in U's case, however. Putting a sell request through bypassing the UA's version Starnet.

I've been getting valid results on ANA (for LH flights at least) today.

Seems to be working for most of the searches ^

Only one I can't get to work is

AKL Auckland Int'l NZ [NZAA]
NAN Nadi Int'l FJ [NFFN]
